Dr Renée Parsons-Smith and Professor Peter Terry from the University of Southern Queensland (USQ) are investigating relationships between mood and performance in a variety of contexts. The title of this research project is “Online Mood Profiling and Interacting Mood-Performance Relationships”. Participants will complete the Brunel Mood Scale (BRUMS) which will take approximately 1 to 2 minutes. Participants from the mining and construction industries will also complete the Workplace Health and Safety Scale (WHSS), which will take approximately 2 minutes.

You are invited to participate in this study. Participation is voluntary and you may withdraw at any time with no adverse effects. However, please note that if you wish to withdraw from the project after you have submitted your responses, the Research Team are unable to remove your data from the project. All information is confidential and will only be viewed by the researchers. Data will be stored electronically. The results of the study will be published in a psychological journal, although only group data will be reported, meaning that your identity as a participant will remain confidential.
